Surrendering a Pet

Pets are a lifetime responsibility, not that different than children except your cat or dog isn’t going to grow up and move out. And while we understand that circumstances may arise beyond your control, FCHS is unable to accommodate every surrender.

If all other efforts have failed, i.e., newspaper ads, Internet, posters, etc., you may submit a private surrender form. Approval can take up to 3 business days. If accepted, all surrenders must be accompanied by current vaccination records along with a spay/neuter certificate.
